Facial veins

Until now, couperose/rosacea treatment has usually consisted of prescribing active ingredients such as metronidazole or ivermectin over a period of several months.
This does not significantly improve the redness caused by the formation of blood vessels. Today, the annoying redness of the face can also be treated with laser therapy, in which the dilated vessels are specifically closed by the laser light so that blood can no longer flow through them.
Treatment with our KTP laser is gentle and achieves excellent results in a very short time. The treatment is minimally painful, but does not require local anesthesia. You will usually feel a slight stinging sensation. The laser beam penetrates the skin and only develops its effect in the vessel. This is then denatured by the laser and is broken down over the following week.
As the KTP laser is very gentle, no local anesthetic is required. The treatment itself usually only takes a few minutes. After the treatment, there is redness and possibly swelling for 1-2 days. Crusts do not appear. The treated areas should be protected from the sun for 1 week. It makes sense to repeat the treatment every 2 years.
