Pigment spots

Age spots are the result of the sunlight we are exposed to over the course of our lives. This is why age spots only appear on areas that are regularly exposed to the sun, i.e. the back of the hands, face, décolleté and forearms. The brown pigmented skin spots are often perceived as disturbing because they are very conspicuous on these areas of the body.
The spots are generally harmless and occur in 90% of all people. They can be easily removed with a laser.
We achieve good results gently and quickly with our erbium laser. The treatment is painless, but can be performed under local anesthesia if desired.
Since the erbium laser is used very superficially, no local anesthesia is required. The treatment itself usually only takes a few minutes. After the treatment, there is redness and a crust for 6-10 days. This crust completely flakes off within 2 weeks. The treated areas should be protected from the sun for four weeks.
